I’m not very in tune with physical pain.  I traveled the midwest for a month with what turned out to be a severe case of falciparum malaria after I returned from Zimbabwe.  It sucked, but I just figured that malaria would suck more.

My knee started hurting at mile 7 of my easy 12 miler today.  I was just over a hill on a road with a pretty nasty camber.  I stretched and walked and got to feeling better, but not perfect.
